About Me

Following a 28 year career in business, Ginnie took up jewellery making as a hobby.  Given positive feedback from other jewellers, Ginnie decided to launch Ginnie Monk Jewellery.  Her handcrafted jewellery is inspired by nature and natural shapes, using sustainable recycled materials.

Ginnie enjoys learning new techniques and working with new materials.  She is currently working with sterling silver, copper, anodised aluminium, enamel, sea glass and gemstones.  Her work has been exhibited in galleries and the Aberdour Art Festival.

Ginnie works from her studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I’m inspired by nature and natural shapes and I use a range of sustainable recycled materials. I love taking natural, raw materials and turning them into beautiful pieces.
